BROMSGROVE Homebase held a successful charity collection in April.
The new store opened at the recently launched Brook Retail Park, off Sherwood Road, in early April.
On Good Friday, (April 18), staff at the DIY store held a charity collection for the Alzheimer's Society, a charity working to transform the lives of people with dementia.
Homebase colleagues also held a raffle, put on a barbecue, and entertained customers and children throughout the day with an Easter bunny hunt.
Daryl Lancaster, the store's manager, said: “We chose Easter weekend to raise money for this cause because it’s one of our busiest times of the year.
"We had great fun getting into the spirit of things and our customers gave generously."
