HUNDREDS of Bromsgrove residents took part in a successful fun run held in the town at the weekend.

More that 400 people took part in the fun run organised by Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research’s Bromsgrove and District Voluntary Branch.

The event, in its 26th year, was held on Sunday, (May 11), once again taking place from Bromsgrove Rugby Club, in Finstall Road.

Chairman of the branch, Nicole Harris, said the event was the biggest ever fun run organised.

She said: "So far it looks like we have made at least £12,000, maybe more.

"It was a very cold day but had 411 people registered.

"I would like to thank all the participants and all the helpers who came on the day."
