A TEENAGER who died in a road collision in Bromsgrove on Tuesday, has been named.

Samuel Chambers, aged 17, who lived locally, was in collision with a Toyota Avensis near the traffic lights at the junction of the A38 and New Road just after 10.20pm.

He suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation has been launched by West Mercia Police and people are being urged to come forward if they saw anything, including anyone who witnessed the collision or noticed either the teenage pedestrian, or the car involved immediately beforehand.
