TWO youths have been charged in connection with an incident in which a car stolen from Rubery crashed.

The Nissan Micra was stolen with its keys in New Road, Rubery, on April 26 while its owner was in the Balti Hut.

The vehicle was involved in a collision in Fountain Close, Longbridge on April 30.

Two 17-year-olds, one from Kings Norton and one from Northfield, were charged on June 10 with allowing themselves to be carried in a vehicle that they knew had been taken without the owner’s consent.

They are due to appear before Worcester youth court on June 25.
