A TOWN operatic society is returning to the Artrix for its latest musical this week.

Bromsgrove Operatics Society is performing Gershwin's exciting musical Crazy For You, every night this week until Saturday, June 21.

The musical is a classic boy-meets-girl story, given a wild-west makeover, and includes energetic dance routines combined with fast-paced comedy.

Bobby, whose dream of dancing on the stage is at odds with the wishes of his frustrated fiancee, meets Polly, the feisty daughter of a theatre owner, and falls in love.

Disguised as theatre impresario Bela Zangler, Bobby decides to put on a show with the help of his friends to raise the money needed to keep the theatre, threatened with closure, open all while trying to win the affections of Polly.

Unforgettable Gershwin songs "I Got Rhythym", "They Can't Take That Away From Me", and "Someone To Watch Over Me" feature.

Tickets for the show are still available, priced at £12.

They are available from the Artrix Box Office in person or by calling 01527 577330.
