YEAR eight pupils from Bromsgrove Preparatory School have teamed up with pupils from the same year at Parkside Middle School to take part in a joint art project exploring the theme of journeys.
The youngsters from each school made visits to each other’s school buildings to share their ideas, and work together to create three dimensional sculptural maps, tasking on aspects of abstract art which were incorporated into their work.
Deborah Lippett from Parkside Middle School said: “It has been an exciting and valid experience for both schools.”
The completed artwork will now be put up on display at Bromsgrove Prep School from July 23, as part of their End of Year Show, before moving over to Parkside Middle School for a second showing, and then going up on public display in Bromsgrove Library from Saturday, August 9 to September 26.
