CHILDREN of all ages from Victoria’s School of Dance and Performing Arts in Rednal teamed up recently to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The dance students who were aged from three to 10 years old, came together to put their dancing skills to good use for the charity by dancing in their favourite outfits in a variety of party dance games, as well as learning new styles from flamingo, salsa, hip hop and hoe-down.

The event was organised as part of Macmillan’s new Dress up and Dance fundraising campaign, which is encouraging people to do everything from twirling in tutus to trying hip hop in a hoodie.

Class leader Jules Kite-Lightfoot, said: “It was a really enjoyable day and lots of enthusiasm was shown by all.”

All together the youngsters managed to raise £50 for the charity.
