A GREAT-GRANDMOTHER celebrated her 100th Birthday on Tuesday, July 29 with friends and family at a care home near Bromsgrove.
Gerturde ‘Trudy’ Cluderay, a resident at Hopwood Court was visited by loved ones who travelled from as far as New Zealand for her special day.
She was originally born in Acocks Green moving to Alvechurch in 1953.
After marrying Stan and having a daughter Dianne, the couple enjoyed over 60 years of wedding bliss.
In her youth she helped out at a group for the elderly, played the piano for Holyoakes school in Redditch and was a Sunday school teacher at a Baptist church.
