The event, on Saturday, August 16, will be put on as part of Worcestershire Film Festival.

Organiser Simon Munn, said: “We’re really excited to return to Bromsgrove for a Roadshow event and screen local films in the Artrix. If you’ve not ever visited, now is a fantastic opportunity to do so.”

Between 11am and 6:30pm, a series of movies including 'The Call' which raises awareness of dementia and 'Deception' a dark-themed drama, will be aired.

Last year’s winning short movie 'Lights' a fantasy fairytale by Dave Tomlin will be shown as well as his latest release 'Inside'.

At 4.30pm, the Artrix will show 'A Story of Children and Film' the world's first movie about kids in global cinema, by Mark Cousins.

The Film Roadshow has been funded by Worcestershire County Council arts service to discover local filmmakers and showcase their work to a public audience.

After the event, a question and answer session will be held with the film crews.
