A Rubery DJ and producer has been shortlisted in a national competition to win a slot to play at Leeds Festival.
Luke Hussan entered Relentless Energy’s ‘Here to be Heard 2014’ competition in July by submitting a 10 Minute DJ mix and a video.
The 24-year-old is now competing alongside five others for a place on stage before Zane Lowe on Saturday, August 23.
He said: “Winning the competition would literally be a dream come true. Performing to thousands of people at a festival which I adore and support is something I have wanted to do my entire life.
“I have been involved in music for most of my life, playing various instruments, the very first was the trumpet. My sole passion in life is creating and performing music that I have made and for others to enjoy it.”
The competition closes on Saturday at 5pm.
