A BROMSGROVE garden centre is inviting green-fingered youngsters to share their love of nature as part of a series of events.

Little Heath Garden Centre, in Littleheath Lane, Lickey End, is inviting people to have fun at their garden centre by planting their own bulbs during a tete-a-tete workshop this Sunday, August 24 between 11am and 1pm.

Children will be provided with all the materials needed to plant their very own bulbs to take home, and will learn how to care for the bulbs so they can see them transform into beautiful flowers by next spring.

Peppa Pig will also be dropping in to help youngsters at the event.

Boyd Douglas-Davies, Little Heath Garden Centre's chief executive said: “Children really enjoy getting hands-on and planting their own tete-a-tete bulbs.

"It’s a great activity to help young people develop a love of gardening.

"We are delighted to be holding another family friendly event at Little Heath Garden Centre.”

The following day, Bank Holiday Monday, August 25, the centre is holding another event, a circus skills workshop.

Children will be able to have a go at stilt walking, plate spinning, juggling and balloon modelling at the event, taking place between 11am and 3pm.

The garden centre will have a bouncy castle for the next two weekends, while a wildlife trail is running everyday until August 31, from 10am until 4pm.

All the activities are free. For more details visit littleheathgardencentre.co.uk.
