BROMSGROVE's branch of the Birmingham and Midland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry its holding is next meeting on Tuesday, November 11.
It includes a talk entitled The Nailmakers of Bromsgrove by branch members, Pat Tansell and Jenny Townsend.
The talk will look at the lives and conditions of local nailmakers, during the nineteenth century and what options the people had as the trade declined.
The meeting is being held from 7.45pm at the Bromsgrove Methodist Centre, in Stratford Road.
Tea and coffee will be available.
In December, a meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 9, which will contain a talk by Ray Gallivan called Christmas in the Trenches.
