A BROMSGROVE nursing home was visited by young stars from the Artrix Theatre on Saturday, November 8.

Residents at St Johns Court Nursing Home were entertained by the Young Theatre Group who put on a remembrance show, about the First World War.

The group sang, danced, read poetry and also acted out drama scenes from the war.

Heather Mitchell, activities coordinator at St Johns Court Nursing Home, said:“It was done in a sensitive way and all the residents appeared to really enjoy the theatre coming to the home.

“This is to say thank you to the Artrix theatre group from residents and staff at St Johns Nursing Home Bromsgrove. It was a wonderful morning and enjoyed by all.”

After the performance the drama group stayed a while to enjoy refreshments and talk with the residents.
