TOWNSFOLK will be hoping to hit the right note at a carol concert being held this December.

Bromsgrove's civic head is hosting the annual community Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 17.

The service will start at 6.30pm at the Spadesbourne Suite of the Council House, in Burcot Lane.

Finstall First School youngsters will be performing and there will be speeches from representatives of the civic head’s chosen charities – Help for Heroes and Libby Mae’s Little Angels.

Councillor John Ruck, the civic head, said: “I am really looking forward to hearing some lovely Christmas songs and carols from the children of Finstall First School.

"It will really help to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

"This time of the year is also a time for giving so I’m glad that my chosen charities will also be attending. Please come along and enjoy the service, it should be great fun for all the family.”
