A BROMSGROVE school supporting children with physical disabilities has opened a new training suite.

Chadsgrove School and Specialist Sports College, in Meadow Road, was designated a National Teaching School in September 2014, and to enable them to provide high quality training it developed the training centre on the school site.

Dr Phyllis Jones from the University of South Florida delivered the first course in the new training suite, which was attended by a wide variety of professionals and students training to be teachers.

The school has also produced a training programme which goes out to a wide variety of organisations on a termly basis. The training the school provides is for practitioners in mainstream and special school settings, and for families.
