RESIDENTS and staff at Breme Residential Care Home in Bromsgrove held a party and donned festive jumpers to raise money for its residents’ welfare fund.
On Friday, December 12, the Providence Road care home marked the cheery occasion by enjoying music around the Christmas tree.
During the party, the band, Evergreen, performed a range of classic festive tunes along with some songs from the past.
Helen Barron, Breme Residential Care Home’s activities leader, said: “We had so much fun at our Christmas party – there is no other time of year that you would get so much pleasure from wearing garish itchy jumpers, but we absolutely loved it and wore them with great pride.”
The money was raised by each staff member donating £1 to the fund, which helps pay for the residents' activities.
