BROMSGROVE residents searching for a career are being invited to a job fair being held this Friday, February 13.

Sajid Javid is hosting the jobs fair at the Council House, in Burcot Lane from 10am until 3pm.

The MP decided to organise the fair to support those still looking for work and invited more than 30 employers to meet the workforce.

Among the employers represented on the day will be Harris Brushes, Jaguar Land Rover, Severn Trent Water, Aldi, Tesco, National Grid, RAF, Bromsgrove School and Thomas Horton LLP Solicitors.

Representatives from West Midlands Ambulance Service, which is currently on a major recruitment drive for 300 student paramedics, will also be at the meeting.

Jennifer Zandbeek, West Midlands Ambulance Service Learning and Development Manager, said: “We offer a wide range of fantastic opportunities.

"It’s not just about paramedics.

"Other roles within this service include working in our 999 or 111 call centres, in our Patient Transport Service, or in one of our many support roles such as Human Resources, IT, Fleet or Finance.”
