A WOMAN has won an award for her image of a Bromsgrove youngster.

Michelle White Photography has won an award in the Cherub's Baby Photographers scheme, run by the Master Photographer's Association.

The 10 day old baby in Michelle's photo was Riley Lewis Sharratt, the son of Bromsgrove couple Charlotte and Richard Sharratt who run the successful charity Libby-Mae’s Little Angels.

Libby-Mae was the couples' first child who died aged just 13 days old.

The charity raises money for neo-natal units in the West Midlands.

Michelle is a big supporter of the charity as her baby girl Gracie spent two weeks in a neo-natal unit when she born in 2013.

Michelle said: "I am very passionate about the work that I create and I am absolutely thrilled to receive recognition for doing something that I love.

"I thoroughly enjoy working with beautiful newborn babies and families to produce timeless piece of art that will last for generations to come.”
