ANIMAL lovers are being invited to a Catshill rehoming centre's spring fair being held this month.

Blue Cross animal rehoming centre is holding the fundraiser at Catshill Village Hall in Golden Cross Lane between 10am until 1pm on Saturday, March 28.

Visitors will be able to try their luck with the tombola and purchase low cost pet foods and other supplies on offer.

Hot and cold refreshments will be available throughout the event.

Neil Edwards, Bromsgrove Blue Cross centre's manager, said: "We’re looking forward to seeing lots of animal lovers at this year’s spring fair.

"Not only will all the funds raised go towards our current rebuild appeal but also help us care for all the homeless pets we have at the centre.”

Blue Cross receives no government funding and relies on public donations to continue its vital work helping local cats and dogs in need.

The Wildmoor Lane-based centre is currently being transformed, with work expected to be completed later in the year.
