BUDDING entrepreneurs from a Bromsgrove school were praised by judges during a recent trade fair at a Wychbold garden centre.

North Bromsgrove High School's young enterprise team, Fired Up, took part in the trade fair at Webb's Garden Centre recently.

Judges commented that their lighthouse product was "incredibly unique" and completely different from any other product available on the day, praising the team for their ingenuity and creativeness in producing gifts from old and used materials.

The team from the School Drive-based school was previously awarded the best overall stand award at the Worcester Cathedral event last year.

Fired Up generated a substantial profit on the day and received numerous compliments from customers about their products and brand image, including their unique custom branded carrier bags.

Fraser J C Marshall, who has the managing director role in Fired Up, said: "I have always wanted to be part of a Young Enterprise group, but never did I think that I would get such a vital role within our company.

"It thrills me to be part of such a great team of colleagues and to be able to watch our products being created and the transactions between happy satisfied customers."
