A BROMSGROVE building society is holding a bake off with a twist to raise cash for its charity of the year.
The West Bromwich Building Society, in High Street, will be serving up a variety of home baked food including Indian sweet and savoury treats, and cupcakes.
In exchange for enjoying the treats, customers can make to the donation to dementia charity Alzheimer's Society.
The fundraiser is being held all day on Friday, March 27.
Staff have also lined up a special cake in the shape of a Dalek from BBC television show Doctor Who.
This will be offered to the Little Wonders parent and toddler group at Bromsgrove Baptist Church, in New Road.
The building society's branch manager, Steve Perry, said: “We’ve really pulled out all the stops for this event in order to generate much needed funds for our nominated charity.
“Alzheimer’s Society is a cause close to the hearts of many people who work at the West Brom and also our customers.
"Dementia can have a devastating impact on people’s lives and their families and we hope people will show their support by giving generously.”
