TODDLERS, children and teenagers in Wythall can now benefit from improved facilities at Wythall Community Park.
Residents with toddlers and young children can enjoy a revamped play area which now boasts brand new sand play unit, crawling tunnels, climbing mounds, toddler basket swing and a Viking boat climbing unit amongst other improvements.
Additional fitness and balancing items have also been added to the play area which was previously installed and includes a zip wire, space net, embankment slide and a rotating beam.
Bromsgrove District Council used local Section 106 funding to complete these improvements to the play area as well as the recent improvements to the pathways.
John Godwin, head of leisure services, said: “The area now lives up to its name of a community park with something for everyone to enjoy whether it’s a family with young children, young people hanging with friends or dog walkers enjoying the improved pathways.
"We hope that people from across the district come to Wythall to enjoy the new facilities, especially as the weather is getting warmer.”
