PATRIOTIC children, parents and staff from a Rubery nursery celebrated St George's Day with an indoor street party.
Children and staff from Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School, based at Longbridge Methodist Church, dressed as St George, as well as knights, prince and princesses, and in England shirts.
Children and parents joined in traditional party games, waved England flags, and enjoyed traditional party food including sandwiches, victoria sponges, scones with jam and cream, jelly and ice cream.
Jacqueline Walker, nursery manager, said: "It was a lovely occasion which brought together whole families to celebrate St George's Day.
"The party finished a week long theme on England where the children have made shields, decorated dragons and learned the story of George and the Dragon, made England cards and drew pictures of the royal family."
