ANYONE who has ever wanted to have a go at sailing, will have the opportunity to try the sport for free in Upton Warren next month as part of the Royal Yachting Association’s Push the Boat Out Day.
Aztec Adventure at Upton Warren will be running activities between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, May 9, and is inviting anyone aged from six upwards to come down to the centre, which is opposite Webb’s of Wychbold garden centre, and be taken out on the water for a free taster session.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to talk to members of the sailing club about sailing.
A spokesman for Aztec Adventure, said: “Sailing is an activity and a pastime which keeps you active in a beautiful environment ensuring taking exercise is a pleasure. Sailing is also a very social activity which you can find out about when you visit our facility with our café overlooking the lake and enjoy its wares on the balcony.
“Aztec Adventure offers a number of other activities on its site at Upton Warren from canoeing to climbing and many others in-between. You can also come along and hire our pedalos, sit on top kayaks and more to use on our lake.”
