YOUNGSTERS from a Rednal playgroup flew the flag for St George's Day.
The children from Play Day Plus 2s, from St Stephen's Church playgroup, in Edgewood Road, aged up to four-years-old, took part in the patriotic celebrations on Thursday, April 23.
On the day youngsters painted pictures of St George and his dragon, and made their own hat to wear at a tea party.
Jules Kite-Lightfoot, the playgroup's manager, said: "The weather was glorious so the youngsters were able to enjoy activities in the church garden including pass the parcel and song time.
"We feel it is important to introduce the youngsters at an early age to patron saints days, festivals and religions and our St George's Day theme was a lovely way to do it."
