WITNESSES to stones being thrown at moving cars in Rubery are being asked to come forward.
West Mercia Police received reports the stones were thrown from Callow Bridge in Rubery.
The incident took place at 7.30pm on Monday, May 11.
Three unidentified youths threw the stones from the bridge. One of the cars aimed at was a blue coloured Audi travelling along the A38 bypass, towards Longbridge.
Only the paintwork was damaged, but police are describing the youth's actions as reckless and stupid, and they could have resulted in more serious implications.
The youths ran off in the direction of New Road in an area covered by CCTV, which is at the moment being looked at by police.
