THE next meeting of the Midlands branch of the National Vegetable Society, (NVS), is being held at a Bromsgrove venue this May.

The West Midlands District Association of the NVS is holding the meeting at Fairfield Village Hall, in Stourbridge Road, on Thursday, May 28.

The hall will be open from 7pm.

The society's national chairman, David Allison, will be attending the event sharing his considerable experience on Growing for Show.

David has been a member of the society for 40 years and he will be offering new ideas and techniques, as well as answering questions.

His talk starts at 8pm with a power point presentation.

After the talk there will be a bring and buy sale, to raise funds for the branch. Members will be bringing some quality Vegetable Plants, seeds and sundries for Sale.

New members are welcome to attend and there will be an opportunity to learn about other events and activities of the NVS, both nationally and more specifically within the Midlands.

Non members will be are asked to bring an up-to-date membership card.
