WITH summer just around the corner, Bromsgrove's Artrix is looking forward to welcoming two professional theatre companies to its stage.

Reform Theatre, a Sheffield based touring theatre company, is bringing its production of April in Paris to Artrix next month.

Al and Bet’s relationship is on the rocks.

He has recently lost his job, she works in a shoe shop and can only dream of a better life.

Then one day Bet wins a romantic night in Paris and the story unfolds…

When an unexpected tragedy has everyone talking about funerals and finger food, Anna seeks escape by impersonating the character of the 1930s Hollywood bombshell, Madeleine Carroll.

In Collidoscope, Hannah Graham from Freshold Theatre takes the audience from West Bromwich to West Virginia, meeting a handful of lively characters along the way, this powerful and contemporary autobiographical story is told through a shifting rhythmical patchwork of poetry and live music.

Reform Theatre presents April in Paris on Tuesday, June 2 at 8pm.

Hannah Graham presents Collidoscope on Saturday, June 6 at 7.30 pm.
