PUPILS at Bromsgrove school have been given help as they begin to think about their future careers.

Staff at St John's Middle School organised the school's annual careers day on Thursday, May 21.

Youngsters from the Watt Close-based school were treated to talks from a music producer, rugby player, theatre manager, solicitor and mechanic.

Those who visited the school were from a number of organisation including SME solicitors, Worcester Warriors and DNA Automotive Solutions.

The teenagers were presented with a variety of opportunities that they might consider pursing in a few years when they leave school.

Head of year eight, Rachel Bourne, said: 'It's always a fantastic day and we are so grateful to our volunteers who come in to speak to us.

"The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed it and we hope it gets them thinking about their future careers."
