PEOPLE are invited to attend an afternoon of lively skiffle music at The Lounge, Alvechurch's community internet cafe.
The 6-5 Specials will be performing on Monday, August 17 between 2.30 and 4pm.
The band consists of John Davies, who plays the ukulele, mandolin and guitar, his wife Pam, a washboard player, drummer Johnny Rawson and bassist Don Walford.
All money raised goes to The Lounge's youth programmes.
Mr Davies said he was excited about the upcoming performance.
“We have built up quite a following and we make a nice sound. It’s better than doing the garden,” he added.
Tickets are £5 from the cafe, and this buys people sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee, plus a chance to get involved in a special raffle.
The band will also be performing at the Morton Stanley Festival on Sunday, August 23 at 3.20pm.
