RESIDENTS are being invited to a village show in Bromsgrove which will feature a variety of classes.

The Dodford Show takes place at Dodford Village Hall in Priory Road, on Saturday, September 5.

Organised by the Dodford Gardening Club and Womens Institute, experts and novices will be exhibiting in a wide range of classes including fruit, vegetables, flowers, cookery, preserves, wine, handicrafts, eggs and childrens classes.

Registration of entries and staging of exhibits takes place between 9.30am and 11.45am.

The entry fee is £2, regardless of the number of classes entered, while children can enter for free.

The event opens to the public at 3pm, when prizes will be presented, exhibits auctioned and the raffle drawn.

Tea and homemade cakes will be available.

Entry is free to the public, who don't have to be a member of the gardening club or WI, or a resident of the village.
