RUBERY youngsters have raised hundreds for a cancer charity through their own coffee morning.
Children at Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School, based at Longbridge Methodist Church, held a fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support on September 25.
The event managed to raise £240 for the charity, which provides medical, emotional, practical and financial support to cancer patients and their loved ones.
Jacqueline Walker, the nursery manager, said the event was part of a week long theme where the children learned about the wider world and caring for others.
