POLICE in Bromsgrove are appealing for information after a large number of radio controlled model aeroplanes, boats, drones and buggies were stolen from a warehouse in the town.

The items were taken as part of a burglary at Saxon Business Park in Stoke Prior which took place at some point between 10.30pm on Sunday, February 7, and 7.30am on Monday, February 8.

Detective constable Nicola Nevin, investigating the theft, said: “Due to the amount of boxes taken, the offenders must have had a large vehicle to transport the items.

“There also would have been a lot of noise made during the burglary as we believe power tools could have been used to access the property.

“I would urge anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in that area to please contact us on 101 quoting incident number 103s of 8 February.

“Some of these items are very specific and unique to the company, making them easily identifiable.

“If you have been approached by someone trying to sell similar items to the ones pictured, or know of someone who has talked about the items, then please also get in touch.

“Any information could prove vital to this investigation, no matter how small you might think it is.”
