A QUALIFIED nutritionist is setting up a new workshop in Bromsgrove to help people tackle sugar addictions.
Caroline Sproule is launching the workshop to help people change their diets and reduce their sugar intake.
She said: “The workshop will be very educational and empowering for those people who find that sugar cravings control their life, resulting in low energy, poor concentration and mood swings to name but a few of the many symptoms associated with sugar addiction , We have set out to mimic the Alan Carr Stop Smoking Clinics that he has run very successfully throughout the UK for many years. The idea is that attendees will be educated on the effects of sugar on their physical and mental health, identify the major causes of sugar addiction and look at their own personal addiction. We will also be teaching methods of withdrawal and detox and looking at dietary tips to help curb uncontrollable cravings and ongoing ways to battle the sugar.”
The workshop is running alongside one to tackle alcohol dependency, and will be taking place on Thursday, May 5 from 7-9pm at the Wishing Well Holistic Centre in Bromsgrove.
