FOLLOWING on from its popular information events, St John’s Court Care Home in Bromsgrove town centre is holding another afternoon tea on Thursday, May 26, and inviting anyone from the local community to come along and join them.

The event will be running from 2.30pm at the care home, with information on offer regarding safeguarding for anyone who feels it might be useful.

The afternoon tea is open to residents, staff, relatives, professionals and people who live in the local community, and they will be able to find out all about different types of abuse, support on offer, and how to reduce risks.

Laura Wilkes, the home’s manager will be running the event, along with deputy manager Faye Upton.

She said: “We welcome those who have visited us in the past and new faces who will be warmly welcomed.”

The event is free, although donations for refreshments will be appreciated.
