HMP Hewell inmate found hanging in his cell
AN inmate at HMP Hewell found hanged in his cell committed suicide, an inquest was told.
Raymond John York, 54, was found in his cell at the Tardebigge prison on May 10.
The inquest, held at Worcestershire Coroners Court, heard Mr York died as a result of pressure to the neck caused by a ligature on the night of May 9.
The inquest was closed May 19.
