POLICE are appealing to members of the Belbroughton community after a crook cut holes in a car during an attempted theft on Drayton Road.
The crime took place between 6pm on Tuesday, May 17 and 8am on Wednesday, May 18.
The offender, or offenders, attempted to gain entry to the unattended vehicle, which was parked securely on the owners driveway.
An unknown instrument was used to cut a hole in the offside panel and also in the roof.
No entry was gained and nothing was stolen, but a lot of damage was done to the vehicle in the process.
Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 22DQ/37285B/16.
