A WOMAN was attacked by two men while jogging in Rednal earlier this month, leaving her with injuries to her face.

The woman, who is in her 20s, was jogging around the car park towards the 'lookout point' at Lickey Hills Country Park on Warren Lane at around 2.20pm on Thursday, May 12.

She was grabbed from behind by an unknown man and pulled to the floor when a second man appeared and physically assaulted her.

The first man is described as white, approximately 18-years-old and around 5ft 5 with a skinny build.

He has short dark hair which was described as short on the sides and fluffy on the top. He had been wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit, black and white Nike Hi Tec trainers and smelt of Lynx Africa.

The second attacker was also white and around 18-years-old but was of a large build with short blond hair and was wearing a hooded top.

The victim managed to get herself free from both attackers and ran to safety before calling the police. She was later treated for facial injuries.

Investigating officers are now asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or has information regarding the identity of the attackers, to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 22DX/35771F/16.
