LOCAL campaigners in both sides of the EU Referendum debate came together this week in the wake of the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox to put their differences aside in a moment of solidarity.
Both campaigns agreed to suspend their efforts on Thursday of last week after the MP Batley and Spen was stabbed and shot, and Bromsgrove’s Stronger In campaigner Ros Cooke and Vote Leave campaigner Adrian Smart issued a joint statement, saying: “Both Ros and Adrian send their sincere condolences to Jo's family and friends; Jo will be sadly missed.”
The two have recently taken part in an EU Hustings debate organised by Churches Together in Bromsgrove.
