POLICE are investigating an armed robbery after men wielding crowbars stole cash from a shop in Wythall.
Two men entered the Spar store in Drakes Cross Parade at around 10.45pm on Friday, June 17.
They threatened staff with the crowbars and stole money from the safe and tills.
Thankfully no one was injured during the raid but staff members, two men and two women, suffered from shock.
One of the robbers is described as white and in his mid-20s, and the other was mixed race and around the same age.
The thieves made off in a light coloured vehicle with a large quantity of coins in plastic bank bags.
Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in or near Drakes Cross Parade on Friday night.
