THERE’S still time for former North and South Bromsgrove High students to take up their old school banners, and compete against one another as part of a quiz being organised for the Bromsgrove Festival.

The North vs South ‘old school’ quiz is being held at the Artrix on Monday, July 11, where teams will be competing against one another to answer questions from the seventies, eighties, nineties and noughties in a bid to be crowned ‘Old School’ champions.

Quiz organisers Liz Boyd and Annaliese Stanton, said: “We thought that a North vs South quiz would be a really fun way to get local people involved with the ‘Old School Days’ exhibition and we’d love to see ex-students from all decades representing their school. For those who don’t want to be a team member, we’re also looking for enthusiastic audience members to cheer their team on.”

The quiz is taking place alongside an ‘Old School Days’ exhibition at Bromsgrove Library on July 11, which is organised by Bromsgrove Past and Present Society, showcasing historical pictures and memorabilia from the two schools.

Anyone who would like to take part in the quiz, should write to lbo@northbromsgrove.worcs.sch.uk to be part of team North, or acs@southbromsgrove.worcs.sch.uk to be part of team South.

The quiz has changed venue from Bromsgrove Library to the Artrix, and will be starting from 7.30pm, and quiz participants and audience members are welcome to stay on at the theatre’s café or bar after the quiz for a catch up with old school friends.
