ASTON Fields summer fete is returning to Bromsgrove Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Club for its 8th year, and is promising to be bigger and better than ever.

This year's fete will include more than 50 stalls, live music, and an array of games and attractions. It's annual car boot sale will also return alongside the fete on Sunday, July 3.

Activities for children will be on offer throughout the day, whereas adults can relax and watch hockey games played on the club's new Astro Turf pitch.

A barbecue, pig roast and sweet treats will be available, as well as a licensed bar and music from local rock musician Andy Thomas.

Organiser Paul Munn said: “The fete is a great day out for the local community and everyone is welcome. There’s so much to see and do and it’s also a great chance to see the sports and facilities on offer at the club.”

The event, which is free to attend, will take place in St Godwald's Road in Aston Fields between 11am and 4pm.

Car boot sale pitches are available at £5 each, which can be paid on the day. Sellers will have access to the site from 9am onwards.
