FOUR brave solicitors from a firm in Bromsgrove swapped their office desks for a terrifying 10,000 feet fall as they raised £3,000 in a charity skydive.

Samantha Freeman, 25, Fiona Lawson-Hughes, 50, Jenny Barnes, 38, and Jodie Ricketts, 33, took part in the 120mph skydive at Hinton Airfield on Saturday, September 24.

The team from Thomas Horton Solicitors, based on The Strand, smashed their initial £2,000 target and raised vital funds for their charity of the year, Primrose Hospice.

The money will help provide support to patients and families living with a life-limiting illness across North East Worcestershire.

Managing Partner Richard Hull, who was initially due to make the jump, said: "It was a fantastic day, perfect conditions and we all thought the girls were very brave.

"Their bravery is nothing compared to those who need the help of Primrose – and those who provide that help – and it was a peculiarly exhilarating but pensive day.

"I failed the weight limit so did not get to jump! Suffice to say it was chicken salad for me today and I hope to jump before the end of the year!

"We have all been touched by the work Primrose do throughout our time with them this year, so much so that we are likely to extend our support of them for the foreseeable future."
