A CRASH in Bromsgrove on Sunday left seven people injured and the "whole of Catshill at a standstill".

Emergency services received several calls at around 12.30pm on Sunday, September 25, with reports of a crash involving three cars on the Stourbridge Road.

One fire engine from Bromsgrove was sent to the scene, as well as three West Midlands Ambulances.

Paramedics treated seven people at the scene, including four children.

A 45-year-old woman, who was suffering from neck pains and injuries to her arm and hand, was taken to the Alex Hospital in Redditch.

A 15-year-old girl, who was the front seat passenger in the same car, was shaken up as a result of the crash and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Two children and a 33-year-old man from the second car were also checked over by ambulance staff but were all discharged at the scene.

A 35-year-old man, who had been scolded from his car's airbag going off, took himself to a minor injury unit.

There are also reports of a young girl, under the age of 10, who suffered injuries to her face.

One driver, who was in the area at the time, wrote on Facebook that the "whole of Catshill" was at a standstill, and that it took her half an hour to drive from Fairfield into Bromsgrove.

Highways England were called to clear debris from the road and deal with an oil spillage.
