A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer in Bromsgrove following reports of an "aggressive" clash between two groups of youths.
West Mercia Police were called to reports of an altercation between two groups of young people on Broad Street, Sidemore, in the evening of Monday, October 17.
A 17-year-old man from Bromsgrove was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and is currently on bail.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at around 7:40pm to reports of an altercation involving two groups of young people on Broad Street, Bromsgrove.
"It was reported that some individuals were shouting at each other and being verbally aggressive.
"Several officers were dispatched to the incident.
"A 17 year-old man from Bromsgrove was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and is currently on bail."
