COMIC enthusiasts are being invited to relive memories of Dan Dare, Roy of the Rovers and many more at an event in Bromsgrove.
Bromsgrove’s branch of The Birmingham and Midland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry will host "100 Years of Comic Papers" by Roy Aspen on Tuesday, December 13, at 7.45pm.
Branch member Eric March said: "Comics are a neglected art form as well as a forgotten source of social history.
"This lavishly illustrated talk looks at the characters, the artists and the publishers who made a lasting impression on the youth of this country both in peace time and in war."
The event, at Bromsgrove Methodist Church on Stratford Road, also includes refreshments.
