POLICE are appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision between the M42 and M5 near Bromsgrove on Friday, in which a man in his 50s died. 

It happened on the southbound carriageway of the M42 slip road near junction 4A shortly before noon on Friday, January 20.

A white lorry collided with the barrier and burst into flames.

The driver - believed to be a man in his 50s - was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or who saw the vehicle and the manner in which it was being driven prior to the collision.
