ALMOST a quarter of London Midland trains were more than five minutes late last week.

The operator, which serves Bromsgrove Railway Station, tweeted its latest punctuality figures today, showing 76 per cent of its 6,490 trains arrived up to five minutes after their scheduled times.

The figure is well below the 84 per cent average for train operators across the UK.

Almost a quarter (23 per cent) of the delays were caused by 'London Midland related' issues, while 77 per cent were caused by 'other issues'.
