AN amateur five-a-side football tournament will be held in Bromsgrove next month, to raise money for elderly residents at St John's Court care home.
St John's manager Laura Wilkes is appealing for individuals and groups to take part in the competition on Saturday, April 22, to fund equipment and activities for residents at the St John Street home.
Laura said: "This is a fantastic and fun opportunity to help the team of St John’s Court to raise money, which will be used for entertainment, trips and equipment for the activities to benefit the lives of the ladies and gentlemen who live at St John’s Court."
The tournament is booked for 12pm at South Bromsgrove High School and costs £5 per person to take part.
A mystery prize will be awarded to the winning team.
Anyone wishing to take part should call 07375 566351 for more information.
