MP for Bromsgrove Sajid Javid visited Meadows First School to teach children about democracy.
Year four pupils from the Jaguar and Tiger classes asked the Conservative politician about his role within the government and shared their ideas about British values.
Meadows teacher Sara Date said: "Mr Javid’s visit was a great opportunity for pupils to be inspired to work towards making positive changes in their community."
Mr Javid added: "These visits are a great opportunity to inspire children to see the importance of our values such as democracy and freedom of speech."
